Episode 4: Ross Richie CEO and Founder of BOOM! Studios

In this episode, I get the chance to interview one of my comic book mentors, Ross Richie. Ross speaks about what must be done to build a successful comic book company from the ground up. From their new partnership with Fox to partnering with Archaia. Find out what it takes to build a comic book company from one of the best to do it.

 

Ross Richie is the founder of Boom! Studios as well as a comic book creator and publisher.  Starting out with Malibu Comics, Ross took his knowledge and created a successful comic book studio and has continued into other entertainment avenues.  Ross was the producer of the movie “2 Guns”, which was successfully adapted from the comic with the same name, originating from Boom! Studios.

 

In this episode, we gain a wealth of knowledge into managing a successful company as well as how to create a studio from the ground up.  We also learn Ross’ origins in the comic book scene as well as what to look out for in the future.
